The good heart will choose the apparent good and not the real good when the mind is tricked or deceived.
The heart chooses what the mind perceived to be good to do. The good moral heart will choose good. What it thinks to be good anyway. If what the mind thinks something to be good but actually it is evil, then the will still chooses to do the evil thinking it is good to do
The soul is made up of 3 parts. The 3 parts are the mind, will and emotions.
